Graduate student Giuseppe Passucci was awarded an honorable mention for his poster entitled “Inhibition of ROCK Signaling Pathway Disrupts Cell-Substrate Alignment” at the Stevenson Biomaterials Research Poster Session.

Matthias Merkel, postdoc in the Manning group, has received the Otto Hahn Medal from the Max Planck Society on June 15 in Saarbrücken, Germany. The price was awarded for his dissertation on epithelial remodeling and polarity reorientation.

The Manning Group will be represented at the APS March Meeting in Baltimore by postdoc Matthias Merkel, graduate students Sven Witjmans, Giuseppe Passucci, Michael Czajkowski and Adam Patch and undergraduate Kassidy Lundy. The schedule for these talks is as follows:
