The midterm will be next Tuesday, 3/3 and cover lecture and reading material through Tues, Feb. 24th. It will cover HW material up through HW#5.  HW#4 solutions are posted, and HW#5 solutions will be posted after class on the 24th.  HW#6 will be handed out in class on Tuesday, but it is optional and will not be graded.  The solutions to HW#6 will therefore also be posted online on the 24th. I strongly suggest working through problem #1 carefully and checking your answer against the solutions.

We will have a brief midterm review in class on Tuesday Feb 24th.
